Should I send my aggressive dog to an in-home Doggie Boot Camp?

As of this date: we are only 1 of 3 Trainers in ALL of the Phoenix area and Valley wide that will deal with Most Severe Aggressive Dogs, and of the three, we are the ONLY In-Home Boot Camp that Takes AGGRESSIVE DOGS. When your Vet or Trainer tell you to "put the dog to sleep" there is no help, CALL US IMMEDIATELY "We save dogs lives!" "We can train ANY dog!"

What makes your boot camp so special and different than any others?

We are Professionals at what we do. That all sounds good, but I'm concerned about my dog. Is there anything special about your Boot Camp that would be better for my dog, and make my dog have a more positive experience?

Great Question Thanks! At TLC K9 ACADEMY, we believe that kennel training dogs is ineffective, and often times causes such stress in the dog, that most just do not work at all, or most work so poorly, that when you get your dog home, they are sometimes even worse than they were before you brought them for kennel training. Often they return having separation anxiety issues, having to adjust to a cold and clinical environment, and are caged up a great deal of the day. This is not a positive experience, and not an environment that makes learning, and teaching your dog to be a well-mannered and obedient pet.

So what do you at TLC K9 ACADEMY do differently?

First of all, we are NOT AN INEFFECTIVE KENNEL BOARDING TRAINING PROGRAM. We have developed and designed a program that allows your dog to live in a loving home environment, not a cold dark CAGE!. We also are able to work with the dog 24/7. We developed this program because it deals so effectively with behavior problems. "It's OK if your dog tries to eat my couch." That is the point, that only in a In-Home Boot Camp Program can you work on the real behavior problems that exist. We also will take your dog with us on our errands, and other trips with us. The purpose is to get your dog perfectly trained and socialized in ANY environment; This is why we are the BEST at what we do. "We are the Behavior Change and Obedience Experts!" As a result of our methods, the training is a fun exciting experience for your dog or puppy. What if something happens to my dog while at boot camp?

You are responsible for all actions and or medical, or other expenses that might occur while at boot camp. If there is a problem, which there has never been one, we will contact you immediately to determine what course of action you, as the owner want to take.

Will my dog be walked, exercised, and played with at "Boot Camp"?

Yes our training is vigorous, and provides exercise for your dog. We also employ many training methods that incorporate play into the training process. We will love, play and care for your pet as our own!

Will my dog be able to have its regular food and diet?

Yes we will feed most all diets. If your dog requires a special diet please let us know.

Will I be able to visit my dog?

We prefer not until we incorporate you into the training, but we will allow 1 visit or day pass weekly if needed. If other special needs are required, please let our staff know . We can usually accommodate most people with most situations.

Where will my dog stay while at the TLC K9 Academy Boot Camp?

In our home based in-home "Boot Camp." This most resemble a typical home environment, because it IS A HOME, and will allow us to shape, condition and perfect good house behavior. Group classes can NEVER do this!

How many dogs are going through boot camp at one time?

Typically no more than 4-5 dogs are enrolled at the same time. This is ideal to really focus and spend allot of individualized time training your dog. We will not take more than 5 dogs at one time for the purpose of being able to provide individual personal attention and training time for your dog.

When can I contact my trainer to get updates on my dog?

You can call anytime or e-mail anytime. You should receive a reply within 24 hours.

What happens if after Boot Camp, I have problems with my dog?

It rarely happens, but with our written Guarantee. You have training for the life of the dog as long as you are the owner! We will be here for you at any time, for any reason, and it costs you absolutely nothing. You also are entitled to FREE Group Training Classes Support for the life of your dog. If all else fails, we have you come into our facility to have one of our trainers' work with both you and your dog.
